There are numerous new cases of animal cruelty every day, horse cruelty is particularly on the rise. Animal charities say people don`t know how to care for them, so abandon them.

Before buying a horse ensure that you thoroughly research in to the costs of looking after the horses, there are also numerous horse charities offering rehoming of abused horses, so you can give a horse a second chance in life, although it is important to note that some mental damage to these horses caused by man may take lots of time, love and patience to repair.
